Step By Step Process to Check UAN Status online

UAN is termed as Universal Account Number, this universal account Number will introduced as umbrella for several members Ids which are allocated to person through different establishments.
UAN is 12 digit permanent number, keep your UAN number in handy before checking your UAN status, UAN is compulsory for EPF withdrawal, you can transfer EPF easily with UAN. And through UAN you can check your PF balance easily at anytime.
UAN will be given by your employer as soon as it get from EPFO, you can ask your UAN to your employer, but before that you need to check UAN status online from EPFO portal.
Here, we have given step by step process to check your UAN status through online.
Check UAN status through Online:
Step: 1
Click on the link http://uanmembers.epfoservice.in/, it’s a UAN online portal page.
Step: 2
The page will appear as shown below
Now, select “Know your UAN status” shown as above, which will direct you to the online status window.
  Step: 3
On the next page, fill the PF Number, here this is most crucial part and you must fill your PF number correctly
1.    Select your state, where your office is registered, be careful, while selecting state as you may work in different states, don’t be confused. You can identify from first 2 letters of your PF number.
For example: DS for Delhi, MH for Maharashtra and UP for Uttar Pradesh.
2.    Select PF office region, state contains many regions, like Delhi has 3 and Uttar Pradesh has 9. Here you can trace the region from next 3 letters of PF number
3.    Once, after selecting state and regions, the other 2 columns will be filled automatically
4.    Now fill the organisation number, this organization number will be same for every employee, it will be up to 7 digits.
5.    In the 4th column, fill the extension, mostly it will remain 000 and it may not be appear in PF number, leave it blank
6.    Now, fill your PF number, which is unique in your office and it can be Max 7 digits.

After filling all the details, click on the “Check Status”

By clicking on check status button, you will be notified, whether the UAN is allotted or not
If the number is allotted then it appear as ‘Your UAN’ is allotted for Member Id<your member id>
Step: 6
Next, provide the details to verify and the UAN details will sent through SMS.
Fill the details as shown
·         Fill your Date of Birth
·         Name of the Member
·         Permanent Mobile Number
·         Password and confirm Password
·         Then enter the captcha code.
Once, after fill all the details, click on Get Pin, you will get pin through SMS. Enter the pin in shown field.
Now, your request will be submitted successfully and will be proceed in next 7 days, after processed, all the details will be sent to your mobile via SMS.
